There isn’t a lot of guidance needed to know how to buy 3D movies but one should still pay close attention. With movies being released in multiple formats buyers should be aware that the same movie may be available on DVD, Blu-ray, and 3D Blu-ray. Add in the fact that sometimes there are special editions released and some DVD’s are still being sold in standard and widescreen editions and there could be five different versions of the same movie that is available.
One should also note that a few movies have been released in recent years that are declared 3D but they do not use the same technology as 3D Blu-ray movies. Any recent movie should be in 3D Blu-ray format however and this probably won’t be confused with an older movie.
